Real fruit, real cider – Zeffer is the real deal. We recently teamed up with Zeffer to produce a range of promotional video content to accompany the launch of their equity crowd-funding campaign.
From humble beginnings at the Matakana Farmers Market in 2009, Zeffer has grown to become New Zealand’s largest dedicated cider producer. On a global scale, the cider market is expanding rapidly – and more discerning consumers are on the hunt for a premium, craft-style product. Zeffer hits this mark – a quality New Zealand cider made from real New Zealand fruit.
We were asked to put a video together that both told the Zeffer brand story, and would attract prospective investors. Key to telling this story was to capture the quality, care, and craft that goes into each and every bottle. We travelled to Hawkes Bay – the fruit bowl of New Zealand – to showcase the delicious fruit that starts off the cider-making process. This video was published on the Snowball Effect’s online information memorandum – where it recieved a 96.6% average view rate.
To further promote the crowd-funding offer, we also assembled a short animated video from the graphics provided by One Design. While this video was relatively simple to put together, it was effective – receiving strong engagement as a boosted Facebook post.
In the end, Zeffer reached their crowd-funding goal no problem – hitting their $1.2 million target with ease!
